King’s Bridge is a small, progressive, discussion-oriented group in Calgary. We host both non-religious, community-building, conversational events and spiritually-oriented church gatherings that honour a wide diversity of worldviews.

  • Feb. 18, Spiritual Speculation Space: 6:30pm (MT), via Zoom. Topic: Controversial End of Life Issues.

  • Mar. 1, Potluck Brunch and The Caim: 10:30am Brunch in-person, 11am Caim via Zoom and in-person.

  • Mar. 6, Early Spring Fun Night: 6:30pm. Warm weather themed potluck snacks, drinks, games. prizes, and more.

  • Mar. 11, Spiritual Speculation Space: 6:30pm (MT), via Zoom. Topic: Free Will.

  • Mar. 15, Bridges: 3pm, in -person at Marda Loop Brewing Company. Topic: Cooperation and Cooperatives.

  • Mar. 29, Easter Caim and Potluck: 10:30am in-person and via Zoom.

  • Apr. 12, Bridges: 3pm, in-person at Marda Loop Brewing Company.

  • Apr. 15, Spiritual Speculation Space: 6:30pm (MT), via Zoom.

  • Apr. 19, The Caim and Potluck: 10:30am in-person and via Zoom.

  • May 3, Bridges: 3pm, in-person at Marda Loop Brewing Company.

  • May 13, Spiritual Speculation Space: 6:30pm (MT), via Zoom.

  • May 31, Annual General Meeting and BBQ lunch: 11am AGM in-person and via Zoom followed by BBQ lunch in-person (provided, not potluck).

The summer schedule is now being developed. Events will be added to this list in the months ahead. If you'd like to host something, or would like to attend something and have scheduling limitations, please contact Rob soon.

  • June-August SSS (Spiritual Speculation Space) becomes SSSS (Social Spiritual Speculation Space with looser, open conversation on whatever impromptu topics attendees want to engage. 

  • June BBQ, fun and games gathering. 

  • July - KB retreat weekend at Rosen Lake.​

  • August - KB BBQ and mini soapbox derby.​​​

King's Bridge is a registered Canadian charity. You can donate via Canada Helps (they will keep 4.5% of your donation) or via etransfer to our treasurer, Cindy at stealthwarrior3@gmail.com (100% of your donation will go to King's Bridge). Financial inquiries can also be addressed to Cindy at the same email address. 

Most King's Bridge gatherings take place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which is Treaty 7 territory. This is part of the traditional home of the Blackfoot Confederacy (which includes the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Îethka Nakoda Wîcastabi First Nations (which includes the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations), and the Tsuut’ina First Nations. Calgary is also part of the homeland of the Northwest Métis and Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
