1. Have you ever tried to articulate your spiritual identity?

2. What titles, apart from the titles of actual religions, would you use to describe your sense of spiritual identity (Ex. person of faith, sceptic, mystic, spiritual person, religious person, journeyer, non-practicing, devout, deconstructionist etc.)?

3. Are there aspects of your spiritual identity that have changed over the years? Has anything stayed the same?

4. Have you participated in any identity-affirming rituals? (Naming ceremony, tattooing, baptism, confirmation, catechism, family spiritual traditions, etc.) 

5. Different streams of Christianity emphasize sometimes contradictory ideas around identity. Have you encountered any of these (Ex. being "made in the image of God" vs being "born into original sin")?

6. Do you tend to approach God as transcendent or imminent, relational and companionable or unknowable? How does this influence your sense of spiritual identity?
